Choreographer Mudassar Khan is the latest to benefit from Salman Khan's support

While most top actors have their trusted army of filmmakers, designers, choreographers, Sallu is known to give breaks to young and unknown technicians.
The latest at the receiving end of Bhai's generosity is 25-year-old Mudassar Khan, who has beengiven a songu00a0 to choreograph, in the actor's film Dabanng.

Salman sir saw and loved my performance. Then he asked me to choreograph his act for the Screen Awards this year. He said I had to take my choreography to a bigger level." Mudassar says he wasn't nervous about choreographing such a huge star. "I took it like a responsibility more than an opportunity. Although, I faced many hurdles as I hadn't done anything on that scale before."

Pulled it off
It took Mudassar 15 days to mix the songs. He keep trying to better it, till the songs for the performance were finalised, "Every day, I would mix a new song. It was tough but somehow because of Salman sir's faith in me I managed to pull it off."

He continues, "After his performance got over, Salman sir called me at night and told me 'abhi tumhe bahut aage jaana hai'. He keeps telling me that I have to learn many things and has been helping me to learn in many little ways. I have got help from music directors Sajid-Wajid too."

Today, Mudassar has got his first break in B-Town withu00a0 Dabanng. "It's a song called Humka Peeni Hai and Salman sir gave me a chance to choreograph it. In films, he wants me to learn many things. Salman sir never behaves like a big star. He keeps telling me I have to start reinventing myself."

Apart from being part of a group, Mudassar has been teaching youngsters from the age of 5-18 how to dance. "I run the Tire Dance Academy school which has 300 students and five instructors in Malad. Mudassar has also choreographed a new mint ad which Salman shot for in Panvel last week. The ad apparently has a dancing sequence.
