This actor got a royal dressing down from top filmmaker for asking for the film's script
There's no denying that this young actor is a powerhouse of talent, but to say that he owes his stardom to a widely respected filmmaker wouldn't be an exaggeration either. He has played the lead in two back-to-back, mega budget projects by the producer-director and now, they are set for a third collaboration.

The filmmaker is known to be a taskmaster with a quicksilver temper, something that the actor is well aware of, but he seemed to have forgotten that for a teeny-weeny moment when he dared to ask for the script of the upcoming project. All hell broke loose, and the filmmaker gave the actor a dressing down that he won't forget in a hurry.
Says a source, "The director has his own set of favourites and, particularly, swears by this versatile actor. But, he won't allow him to make demands, especially for the film's script. No wonder he got enraged and severely reprimanded him."
While shooting their last film, the filmmaker used to give him a hard time and often ridiculed him in front of the entire crew if he struggled with a scene. On one occasion, he was also threatened to be thrown out of the project. The actor, however, kept his emotions in check and silently tolerated the humiliation since he did not want to lose the film.
Must say the leading lady of the film was rather lucky to have got the filmmaker to offer her a fee hike. Or was she also yelled at for demanding a fat pay cheque? Seems unlikely, but we will find out soon.
