Aamir Khan has apparently turned down Karan Johar's upcoming film
The latest buzz doing the rounds has it that Aamir Khan too has turned down Karan Johar's film, Shuddhi. Says a source, "Apparently, the film's script was sent to Aamir after Hrithik opted out of the project.
Back then, Aamir was not interested in the film and Karan Johar then offered the film to Ranveer Singh. With Ranveer declining the offer — he chose to take up Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, 'Bajirao Mastani' — KJo apparently decided to again offer the film to Aamir Khan."
But it has emerged that this time too, Aamir has decided against taking up the project. "The first time around, he had asked Karan to give him some time to go through the script. He then turned it down saying that the script didn't work for him. Now hse has again politely refused to do the film," adds the source.
When contacted, Aamir Khan's spokesperson maintained that the actor has not been approached for 'Shuddhi'. Karan Johar remained unavailable for comment. With no cast in place, it remains to be seen if Shuddhi will keep its date (December 25) with the silver screen.
