Confirming the same, MMRDA Joint Project Director Dilp Kawatkar said, “On Thursday morning, a small landslide happened just after the tunnel going towards Chembur ends. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident. The work of removing debris from the road has been started and by 4 pm debris will be cleared and the lane will be opened for traffic.”
Soon after the incident, as a precautionary measure, the two lanes have been closed for the traffic and only one lane for coming and going is operational.
