Cleric Abu Qatada has been released from prison, flashing an arrogant smile to the outraged British public
After winning the latest round in his battle against extradition to Jordan, Qatada has been freed from prison to carry on living at the taxpayer’s expense.
Driven away from the maximum security prison Long Lartin, the terror suspect arrogantly smiled at waiting photographers.

Judges ruled on Monday that Qatada could stay in the UK as they could not be sure that evidence from witnesses who had been tortured would not be included in a retrial back in Jordan.
The decision is a slap in the face to the British public, who now face paying more money towards vile Qatada’s benefits and house. Taxpayers will now have to fork out £5 million (Rs 43.6 crore) a year on surveillance after a judge ruled that the Al Qaeda preacher must be released.
