New Delhi: Japanese multinational conglomerate Sony launched Xperia E4 Dual, its latest budget smartphone at a very competitive price of Rs 12,190. The smartphone was unveiled globally in February 2015 but was made available in India for sale on Tuesday.
The Sony Xperia E4 Dual features a 5-inch qHD display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. On the innards, the device is clocked at 1.3GHz quad core Mediatek MT6582 processor which is complimented by 1GB of RAM.
The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear surface and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.
The device gets 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through a microSD card. On the connectivity front, the Sony budget smartphone gets Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB.
The smartphone is power packed with a 2300mAh battery to fuel its operations for a longer period, company claims that the phone can deliver two days of battery life once fully charged. Users can switch on Battery Stamina mode to optimise the battery usage and can activate Ultra Stamina mode that enables the device to run on its core functions for a week.
The phone measures 137 x 74.6 x 10.5 mm (5.39 x 2.94 x 0.41 in) and weighs 144 g (5.08 oz). The dual-SIM phone is available in classic black and white colour variants.
