Stop the blame game

Kiranjeet Singh Rajput says that L K Advani failed to take independent decisions when NDA was in power

At the time when Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi were prime ministers, taking decisions independently was possible as only two main parties existed. However, in today's times, the UPA government is an alliance of several parties, including many regional parties. All of them play important roles.

In such circumstances, the PM has to consult the allied parties before taking any decision.

Ram temple issue
Can Advani explain why ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Advani himself, the home minister during the NDA rule, failed to build the Ram temple, a key factor instrumental in NDA's triumph during the elections? Why did the BJP stalwarts not decide to go ahead with the construction of the temple then, instead of raising the issue now during the polls?

Instead of accusing the UPA government of overlooking the black money case, Advani should have taken steps to bring the black money back to India when he was the home minister.

Indecisive
It is very clear that he was not able to take decisions on his own as the NDA government also had to consult its allies before taking any step.

Single party majority in India is a thing of the past. In the current scenario, all major parties have allies in all the states. Every political party should accept this fact and stop their blame games in the larger interests of
the country.
