The beaches of Goa will scorch this New Year, courtesy Shazahn Padamsee. "I have picked up this really hot bikini for my Goa trip. It's pink, red and blueu00a0- all bright and fun colours," says Shazahn who plans to bring in the New Year lazing or dancing away on the beach with her buddies. The pretty lady, who likes to let her hair loose on New Year's Eve, discusses her plans with CS, as well as gives some tips for party- goers:

Water baby
The best thing about Goa is that you don't have to stress about your clothes and accessories. Shorts, tees and sandals are all that you need. And perhaps a nice dress or two. I will spend time chilling out and partying with my friends. Since I love swimming, I will don the beautiful bikinis that I've picked up and be mostly by the poolside or at the beach. Even when I am in Mumbai, I go for a swim once or twice a week. It's very de-stressing and a great form of exercise. I might try some fun adventure activities as well.
Dancing queen
My friends and I will dance the night away to DJ Avicii's electronic tunes. One of the best things about New Year parties is socialising. I love making new friends. Getting acquainted with a stranger can be thrilling. But I always tell my girlfriends to 'Play Hard To Get' when it comes to the opposite sex (laughs). And for guys, it's 'Don't Try Too Hard'. I haven't booked my return tickets from Goa yet. I plan to be there till the January 2 or 3, depending on how much fun I am having.
Tucking in
New Year's Eve is the time to splurge. I always bring in the New Year with a glass of champagne. The rose pink champagne is my favourite. I hardly drink, but I want the best when I want to get a high (laughs out loud). I also like Sangrias, but they are high on calories. When it comes to drinking, girls, please be careful, lest
someone spikes your drink. I don't leave my drink alone for more than two seconds. But yes, New Year's is the time when I let loose. Throughout the year, I am pretty conscious about my diet. I avoid rice, alcohol and fried stuff. But in Goa, I will gorge on rice, Vindaloo and Chicken Xacuti. And how can I forget the precious prawns (laughs uproariously)?
Pointers for party girls
But for girls who plan to party in the city, I would say that sky-high stilettos and a sexy dress is the order of the night. Jewel tones like purple, bottle green, and midnight blue look fabulous. I love bling. I just bought a dazzling clutch and I am going to flaunt that this New Year. I think that accessories are fun, and every girl should have at least one bag, pair of earrings, shoes or jewellery that will make her stand out from the rest. When it comes to makeup, I strongly recommend using a good mascara that makes your eyelashes look really thick. And, a bronzer is a must. Cream blushers and high shine lip-gloss also add a lot of drama to your face.
