Boys will be boys.
If these men were not council members, they may remind you of the unruly 'backbenchers' in school. That's exactly what they are known as in the city council.
One of them, IT minister Katta Subramanya Naidu's son Katta Jagadish Naidu, has proven to be a brat for his 'bench adventures' in the city council.
After becoming infamous for their mischief in city council meetings, Jagadish, a first time corporator from Vasanthnagar, and his troupe of five, including Umesh Shetty from Nagarbhavi, Krishnappa from Rajajinagar, and M Gopi, were warned for their unruly behaviour in the council.
The 'gang', led by Jagadish, is known as the 'last bench team' for obvious reasons. Naturally, the first step towards taming them has been a strict directive to change their seating from the back row to the very first.
Brat pack
Despite being members of the ruling BJP, which came to power in city council for the first time ever, 'last bench team', is accused of not keeping with proceedings of the house.
The unruly six are said to have indulged in talking on cell phones, texting, cracking jokes among themselves, and never taking part in any proceedings, and sometimes walking out of them.

Sound warning
"Yes, I have given them a thorough dressing down," Vijay Kumar told MiD DAY. "I have asked them to change their places and have told them that they are being spared only because they are first-time corporators.
No written notice was given, since we hope they will change. If they don't, they may have to face consequences."
This has clearly troubled their colleagues. "Their behaviour is a cause of concern," added the leader.
However, Jagadish denied the charges when contacted. "I haven't received any directions from my party seniors," said Jagadish. "I haven't misbehaved either."
