New Delhi: Domestic handset maker Lava on Thursday launched "Lava X50 Plus" smartphone at Rs 9,199 in India.

The device features 5.5-inch HD display, dual-SIM support and powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM.

"Lava X50 Plus" is the only device which comes with 32GB ROM at this price point, which stores three times more data compared to 16 GB ROM, the company said in a statement, adding that mobile application loading is 45 per cent faster on this device.

The 4G-VoLTE smartphone also sports 8MP primary camera and 5MP rear camera, both with LED Flash.

The device is available across all major retail stores, along with one-year warranty on phone and six months warranty for the in-box accessories.

Supporting 11 Indian languages, Lava X50 Plus is equipped with the ‘Transliterate Feature' which helps the users translate English into their respective languages and vice-versa with ease.

In June this year, Lava launched its A82 smartphone costing Rs 4,549. The Lava A82 smartphone has a 5-inch display and 1GB RAM. The smartphone has an interesting 'Smart Music' feature in which the user can jump to their favourite track without event unlocking the phone.

In May, Lava unveiled its first 4G tablet "IvoryS 4G" that can be used for both work and entertainment purposes. The Rs.8,799 device packs 7-inch HD display, 1 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM to provide lag-free experience to the consumers. The tablet supports bands GSM 900 and 1800 MHz, HSPA, offers dual SIM (4G+3G/2G) connectivity and houses 3,000 mAh battery.

In March, Lava launched KKT Ultra+ Union -- the first feature phone that supports 22 official Indian languages -- for Indian customers. Priced at Rs.1,500, the phone is designed to minimise the communication gap that arises due to language barriers, hence, bridging the digital divide between the urban and rural population.
