Did you know that Telugu actor Harshvardhan Rane, who is set to step into Bollywood with 'Sanam Teri Kasam', happens to be John Abraham's cousin? That is what sources close to his debut film suggest while adding that he worked in John's production company before getting the big break.

Apparently, Rane was not the first choice for the Radhika Rao-Vinay Sapru film. Says an insider, "Another actor had been chosen to play the lead, and he had trained for the role for three months. However, when Rane auditioned for the film, the makers decided to sign him instead."
The makers, we hear, even postponed the film's schedule to suit Harshvardhan's South commitments. The newcomer had worked in Shoojit Sircar's 'Satra Ko Shaadi', but the film hasn't released yet.
