Head to this uniquely built fort, a natural marvel for an interesting adventure and stunning views
Built atop a single dike-like wall, Bhairavgad Fort is a natural marvel on its own, largely because of its unique construction. The only other place in Maharashtra which is built around a dike-like structure is the Telbaila fort near Lonavla, which, however, has two dike-type walls.

Dating back to 2,500 years, and built by the Bhoj dynasty, the Bhairavgad fort offers a mix of trekking and mild rock climbing. This fort is accessible via two routes.
One is on the right side of the wall, which requires tough rock climbing. The second route is on the left side of the wall, which takes one through broken steps and makes for a thrilling rock climbing option. Participants of this trek will follow the second route.
The best part about this trek is the summit of this fort that offers beautiful views of Malshej Ghat. The one-night, one-day trip is organised by Vibe Outdoors, and includes a midnight trek to the base village Moroshi, followed by an early morning trek to the mountaintop on Sunday.
