Tusshar Kapoor plays a married guy in his next film Life Partner. For the part, Tusshar will sport a moustache and his character is that of a Gujarati NRI. And the role of the wife is being essayed by real-life Gujrati belle Prachi Desai.

Tusshar has always played a lover boy in most of his movies but never got an opportunity to play a married man. Playing a married man, excited him all the more.

Prachi helps

Tusshar says, "I have played a criminal, a mute guy, a lover boy and for the first time now, a married man. I am a Gujju NRI who comes down looking for a girl for him. Having paired opposite Prachi Desai who too is a Gujarati, helped me a lot in learning Gujarati and their acts and behaviour."

He adds, "We have a marriage scene where I am dressed in the typical Gujarati attire.u00a0 It was pretty hilarious. Sarojji was choreographing us and it was so difficult to dance the typical Gujarati Garba steps. Prachi who is a Gujju herself was having a tough time coping up with the steps. But she helped me a lot in terms of speaking the language, and the accent."

Directed by Rumi Jaffrey, who made his directorial debut with God Tussi Great Ho earlier this year, Life Partner also stars Govinda, Fardeen Khan and Genelia D' Souza. The first production by Abbas, Mustan and Hussain Burmawala, the film is all set to release in the first half of 2009.
