Director-actor Sudeep's Veera Madakari is a remake of Vikramarkudu (Telugu). As a director he has done justice to the script and screenplay. But his physique simply doesn't match with the IPS role in the film. Even the first half is boring and there's no flow in the narration. There's less place for creativity; what figures most in the film is lots of blood and swords!

Story- Sudeep plays double role as Satya and Madakari. Satya is a thief, who loves Neeraja (Ragini). He steals a kid from a railway station. The police recover the kid and narrate the kid's flashback. The kid's father, Madakari, was a sincere police officer. He was killed during an encounter with rowdies. Satya takes cares of the kid and kills all the rowdies and the film has a happy ending.

What's hot- Sudeep has done a good job as Satya. Cameramen Srivenkat's work is excellent.

What's Not- Ragini's acting is dull. Comedy, music and dialogues are not up to the mark.

Verdict- Just go to kill your time.u00a0
