"The medical examination of the juvenile jackal (1-1.5 years) was done and it was found to be fit for release. The awareness about the co-existence that is being done in the villages seems to be working in favour of the wild animals because immediately after rescuing it the villagers told us to release it few meters away. The animal was juvenile and as it has been released in the same area it might reunite back with its family." added Deshmukh.
