Ego wars in Bollywood are as common as traffic snarls on Mumbai roads. While clashes and catfights between co-stars are not unheard of, rumours of a fallout between Deepika Padukone and her on-screen father Amitabh Bachchan post Piku were rather bemusing.

The veteran superstar’s absence from Dippy’s recent success bash fuelled speculations about all not being okay between the duo. But then Big B himself admitted that he was not invited by Dippy. The actress, on her part, blamed it on a “technical glitch” and said she has no courage to pick up the phone to explain the same to the actor. Sr Bachchan, however, has decided to let bygones be bygones, but it remains to be seen if the two actors will reunite for a film in future. hitlist pulls out a list of incidents when co-stars couldn’t see eye to eye after having shot for a film together...

Film: 'Dhoom 3' (2013)
Rumour had it: While AB Jr and Aamir jointly launched the first trailer of the film, the former curiously went missing from the subsequent promotional events. It later emerged that Abhishek was not informed about the publicity schedule and the song launches — something that the actor himself candidly admitted. Aamir responded saying it was YRF boss Aditya Chopra’s plan to introduce each actor with a song and since Abhishek and Uday didn’t have any solo songs featuring them, they were not called. Abhishek retorted saying “Thank you” to which Aamir said, ‘I tried calling Abhishek but his phone was unreachable.” The makers were rumoured to have tendered an apology to placate Junior Bachchan.
