At the red carpet, when asked about the PCAs coming to India, Salman Khan said, “It’s happening for the first time, right? It’s about time. It should have begun long time ago. Many people would have gotten a lot of awards. It’s People’s Choice. It’s online, right? If I have to give someone an award, I will give it to someone who has no interest in awards. Like Aamir (Khan). I am not here to accept any awards. I am here to watch the awards function, and later to perform in it.”

And rest assured, the people worldwide have spoken and chosen a Bollywood star with as much love and affection. In the US, last year we received over 230 million votes from fans globally.
