The current nationwide hue and cry surrounding skin products could perhaps have played a spoilsport to Sushant Singh Rajput's new endorsement.
The Kai Po Che and Shuddh Desi Romance actor, who is the new face of a men’s beauty product, was slated to launch it an event at a suburban hotel today.

The invites had been sent in advance, but suddenly the event was cancelled yesterday due to what was described as ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
According to the brand folk the event stood cancelled on account of “some logistical issues on the company’s front.”
Sushant’s spokesperson, however, maintained, “Sushant is down with high temperature, so he was in no condition to attend the event. He, therefore, had to cancel the event.”
Interestingly, a teaser of the commercial is already on air which shows the actor wearing a hood saying that wait for a pimple cream.
However, onlookers feel that any skin cream is looked upon with suspicion as its main motive is to clear and lighten the complexion. Could the event have been cancelled to avoid any unpleasant questions?
