11.30 am: Sonam Wangchuk, the man who inspired Aamir Khan’s character in the film 3 Idiots, will be in the city. An education reformist and founder of Student Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL), he will be delivering a lecture on environmental concerns.

JJ Valaya enters homes
The Home of the Traveller, is fashion designer JJ Valaya’s newest undertaking. Termed as a ‘concept store’, it has furniture and decor pieces that are inspired by various styles of architecture. He has
hand-picked accessories like mother of pearl and crushed bamboo boxes; black and white textiles; and decorative statues and rare collectibles. While the physical store is housed in Delhi, Mumbaikars can shop for his products online as well.

Sway for peace
Participate in a flash mob to spread the message of peace. The Mumbai team of International Zouk Flash Mob (IZFM) will be hosting the event on World Peace Day, this Sunday. Around 10,000 participants from 44 countries and 126 cities will be participating in the event.
