John Abraham was born in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India on December 17, 1972, the 6 feet and 1 inch hunk is one of the more successful models in India. John's father is a Malayali from Alwaye, Kerala in India. His mother is Phiroza Irani, from the Parsi community. In fact John Abraham also has a Parsi name (Farhan) but his father gave him the name John. He has one younger brother - Alan.
John Abraham attended the Bombay Scottish School and later Jai Hind College. John graduated in BA (Hons) in economics. He was an avid sportsman, captaining the college football team. After a few duds at the BO, John's first super hit came with the biker movie Dhoom in 2004 where he played an anti-hero - Kabir.
