Kamal Hassan has finally managed to rope-in Telugu actor Venkatesh to play the second lead in his next mega film Marma Yogi.

Projected to be Kamal Hassan's dream project, Marma Yogi will feature Trisha as the lead heroine as well.

It was rumoured that many actors were being considered for Venkatesh's role before the super star agreed to be part of Kamals' project.

Sources also confirm that Venkatesh has kept all his ideologies asie and agreed to work with Kamal in his Tamil film.

"He never really was interested in Tamil films. It happened only because of Kamal Hassan. Kamal spent over 15 days in Hyderabad, talking to Venkatesh and trying to get him agree to the film. And now that he's agreed, we want to wait and see if there is any reaction from the public, especially since people have been talking about Venkatesh in a Tamil film for a long time," says a source.
