Directed by Sohail Khan, the film is a remake of A R Murugadoss’s 2006 Telugu film Stalin starring Chiranjeevi and Trisha. The film rolls in January and Sallu will reprise Chiranjeevi's role of an army officer.

Buzz is that Sallu and his family will usher in the New Year in Dubai. The Khan-daan for the past two years have been celebrating the turn of the year in the desert emirate. Guess they have lots to celebrate after Dabangg 2’s box office collections.
