Assaulted: Dolly Bindra and (Above Left) Moon Moon Banerjee (Right)
Kohli allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, TV actress Moon Moon Banerjee. He also misbehaved with TV actress Dolly Bindra, her husband Kaizad and Mauritius-based film events organiser R K Aggrawal on Tuesday.
Out of control
Armaan is said to have vandalised a rented bungalow in Peri Beri, after which the local cops were informed.
According to Bindra, Kohli had invited her and Kaizad for a holiday in Mauritius.
“He started misbehaving and would assault Moon Moon. There used to be chaos almost every day.
But Armaan crossed his limits on Tuesday when Moon Moon came down from the room screaming for help. I intervened, so he assaulted my husband and me too,” said Dolly.
Armaan was produced in court yesterday where he is learnt to have pleaded guilty. He was fined and let off.
Bindra claimed she called Armaan’s father, filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli, to inform him about his son’s behavior after things went out of control.
“But then I started getting threatening calls from Bangkok-based don Ejaz Lakdawala. I am scared and have asked for police protection from the Mauritius police.”
Speaking from Mauritius, Armaan told MiD DAY that Bindra was lying. “Dolly was like a sister and she betrayed my trust.
She got me to Mauritius as a celebrity guest for an inauguration, but the organiser disappeared.
Dolly then said I was responsible for the loss,” he said. “I never attacked or assaulted anyone.”
