MAKING HISTORY? Abhishek Bachchan

making the maximum number of public appearances in 12 hours. Beginning Friday morning, when Delhi-6 releases, Abhishek will travel to as many events in as many cities as possible within 12 hours.

Speaking from Dubai yesterday, where he was attending the film's premiere, an excited Abhishek said, "I heard of some German actors who set a world record by making five public appearances in 12 hours. I want to beat their record. I will do at least six to seven appearances in 12 hours in six cities. It could even go up to seven cities."

Starting around noon on Friday afternoon, the cities that Abhishek covers will honour the city that the film Delhi-6 celebrates. "By the look of it, we could do Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Baroda and Mumbai and break this record on the 20th or on 21st," said Sabbas Joseph, director of Wizcraft  International, which will be  manoeuvring the record-breaking  endeavour for Abhishek.

"I think I will break the existing record. Actually, I'm quite excited by the idea, more so  because I'm implementing it for a film that's so close to my heart," added Abhishek. Guinness  Book  officials are expected to be  present  to watch Abhishek make  history.
