SpiceJet concerned for her safety
Concerned for the safety of its 'molested' airhostess Manisha, SpiceJet has restricted her from working on flights to and from Goa.
Three days ago, Manisha had alleged that three Churchill Brothers footballers had molested her on a Goa-Mumbai-Kolkata flight.
The airline allegedly does not want to take any risks, as Churchill Alemao, the owner of the football team, is powerful in Goa.
A senior crew member of SpiceJet on condition of anonymity, confirmed the development and said, "The company has restricted the airhostess and the other cabin crew member on board the day of the incident from flying on the Goa - Kolkata route for a few days due to safety concerns."
However, Alemao, who is also the former Goa chief minister, said, "I don't have any idea what the airline is doing. I am determined to take the airline to court because they have tarnished my name and that of my team."
Despite repeated calls and messages, neither the director nor the spokesperson for SpiceJet were available for comment.
