Indian entrepreneur Karan Ahluwalia to launch 'Sort It'; an app bringing hospitality and tech closer

Keeping this ideology close, Karan Ahluwalia, an entrepreneur from Delhi embarked on his journey to manifest his name in the world of hospitality, acknowledging the problems that consumers face and delivering solutions that make an impact.

Karan initially channeled his passion for the hotel industry at a very young age and joined hands in his family's businesses in owning multiple restaurants in Delhi. Having gained his masters in hospitality from the UK, he realized how people were regularly contacting food allergies in the country which led him to make a mobile application named ‘Sort It', that assisted people to consume food safely. He identified the problem that surrounded the market and did his best to rectify it using modern techniques.

The entrepreneur envisioned creating a safe environment for people who have suffered from different food allergies. His application acted as a bridge between the hospitality industry and the technological integrations that brought an advancement into the field. Considering how no one has ever thought on such lines, the concept was very well perceived by the logistics and got backed up by the University. The application has successfully passed all the testing stages and is ready to be launched in the market very soon. Crediting such mindful approaches, Karan Ahluwalia has also bagged a Special Visa Category, which in itself is a milestone to be celebrated.

Talking about his way of working, Karan says, "I believe in identifying the reason why something is the way it is because only then can one easily facilitate benefits around it. This is what according to me is an ideal entrepreneurial mindset that definitely opens windows of opportunities for exponential growth in the industry."

Apart from being an entrepreneurial virtuoso, Karan realized his interest in the NFT market and decided to start investing in cryptocurrencies and learn more about the Blockchain ecosystem. He became one of the first investors in Ocugen that partnered with Covaxin in the US. His mindful approaches in the genre of investing led him to be a part of many successful blockchains and NFT projects where other people also started concerning him for effective tips and tricks.
