In the elite circles of Kolkata's high society, the glittering facade of the Dutta family shatters when their talented grandson, Pablo, is found murdered, allegedly by his bride, Malini, portrayed by the captivating Surangana Bandyopadhyay. As the prime suspect, Malini becomes the focal point of a scandal that threatens to tear the Dutta family apart. Enter Achinta Aich, a compassionate lawyer, who steps forward to defend the prime suspect, risking his career and safety in a quest for truth and justice. Tasked with defending Malini, Achinta must navigate a treacherous web of lies, betrayal, and hidden agendas to uncover the truth behind the murder.
Saswata Chatterjee plays the opposing counsel, Sitaram Ganguly, in the series, who is determined to prove Malini's guilt. In addition to that, Alaknanda Roy, Roja Paramita Dey, Debraj Bhattacharya, Lokenath Dey, Kheya Chattopadhyay and others, make an excellent supporting cast.
"From the moment I read the script, I knew 'Achinta Aich' was a project unlike any other," said Ritwick Chakraborty, who breathes life into the titular character. "The character of Achinta appealed to me because of his simplicity and resolve, and I feel privileged to be involved in bringing this character to life.
