Indian entrepreneurs 2026.
India's entrepreneurial landscape is increasingly being shaped by leaders who are applying technology, specialised expertise and long-term thinking to some of the country's most important industries. The following entrepreneurs represent different facets of this shift. While their sectors and journeys vary considerably, each is contributing to the evolution of an industry through technology, infrastructure, specialised platforms or new approaches to long-standing challenges.

Sat Kumar Tomer - Founder and CEO, Satyukt Analytics Private Limited
Long before "climate tech" became a buzzword in Indian venture circles, Sat Kumar Tomer was studying soil moisture data from satellites to solve one of agriculture's oldest problems: not knowing enough, soon enough. That research instinct, honed through a Master's and PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a post-doctoral stint at CESBIO, Toulouse, together with his agricultural background and firsthand understanding of farmers' everyday challenges, inspired the founding of Satyukt Analytics, a company built on the belief that Earth observation data could be turned into decisions, not just insights.
Founded in July 2018, Satyukt combines satellite remote sensing, machine learning, and big data analytics to tackle real-world problems in agriculture, finance, and insurance. Its scalable algorithms, particularly adept at processing microwave and SAR satellite data for year-round, all-weather analysis, power a product suite including Sat2Farm, Sat4Agri, Sat2Farm Green, and Sat4Risk, enabling precision agriculture, climate risk assessment, and informed decision-making.
Under Sat Kumar's leadership, Satyukt has expanded its presence across the Global South, empowering governments, enterprises, and farmers with satellite-driven intelligence. Along the way, the company has attracted grants and investments while achieving profitability, a rare milestone for a deep-tech startup. With ambitions to expand its impact across millions of acres, Dr. Sat Kumar continues to position Earth observation as core infrastructure for sustainable development worldwide.
Bhanu Rajagopalan - Managing Director, Orangebeak Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Bhanu Rajagopalan is the Managing Director of Orangebeak Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the company behind Orangebeak Expos, a specialist organiser of B2B industrial exhibitions and business networking platforms.
A civil engineer by education, Bhanu transitioned into journalism, advertising and media in the late 1980s, building over three decades of experience across diverse industrial sectors. This unique blend of technical understanding, strategic communication and deep industry relationships enabled him to identify a critical gap: the need for focused platforms that could bring fragmented industries together to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration and accelerate business growth.
Driven by this vision, he founded Boiler India, India's flagship exhibition and conference dedicated to the boiler, heat and steam industry. Conceived as more than a trade show, the platform promotes industrial safety, technology adoption, knowledge exchange and collaboration among manufacturers, users, consultants, policymakers and academia. Today, Boiler India is recognised as one of India's leading niche industrial exhibitions, with its latest edition bringing together 258+ exhibitors, over 24,000 visitors, 2,000+ conference delegates and 15 knowledge sessions.
Building on this success, Bhanu is now developing iCON, the next industry platform from Orangebeak Expos, focused on construction chemicals, smart materials and advanced building technologies. The initiative reflects his continued vision of creating purpose-driven ecosystems that connect industry, academia, institutions and policymakers to solve pressing challenges and accelerate sectoral growth.
Known for his ability to build enduring relationships and identify emerging opportunities, Bhanu continues to create platforms that generate lasting business, industry and societal impact.
Shalin Sheth - Founder and Managing Director, Advait Energy Transitions Limited (AETL)
Shalin Sheth has led Advait Energy Transitions Limited (AETL) from its roots as a power-transmission infrastructure specialist into a publicly listed enterprise operating across conventional grid infrastructure and emerging clean-energy technologies. AETL manufactures and supplies products such as optical ground wire, aluminium-clad steel wire, emergency restoration systems and transmission-line stringing tools, while also executing specialised infrastructure projects.
Under Shalin Sheth's leadership, Advait Energy Transitions Limited has expanded into solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), battery energy storage systems (BESS), green-hydrogen systems, electrolysers, fuel cells and sustainability services. The company says it has completed more than 450 projects and worked with clients across over 45 countries.
Guided by its vision, "Transforming Energy, Transforming Lives," Advait Energy Transitions Limited is building capabilities across power transmission, energy storage and green hydrogen, areas central to creating a more reliable and lower-carbon energy system for India.
Ranjan Chopra, Managing Director & CEO, Team Computers
Ranjan Chopra is the Managing Director & CEO of Team Computers, a New Delhi-based IT infrastructure and digital transformation company he built into one of India's most enduring homegrown technology enterprises. An IIT-Kanpur alumnus with a background in electrical and electronics engineering, Ranjan founded Team Computers in 1987 with just over â¹50,000, starting as a hardware reseller at a time when structured IT support services were virtually non-existent in India.
Over nearly four decades, his vision steadily reshaped the company - from hardware servicing into system integration and nationwide expansion through the 2000s, then into cloud and managed services in the following decade, and eventually into AI, mobility, and enterprise security as digital transformation took hold.
Today, Ranjan leads a multi-thousand-crore business serving over 3,500 clients across automotive, insurance, manufacturing, and pharma - built entirely without external funding, and now targeting $1 billion in revenue by 2027. His leadership has equally driven social impact, embedding digital literacy, disability support, and environmental conservation into the company's core identity.
Building the Industries of Tomorrow
Taken together, these journeys illustrate the breadth of entrepreneurial impact emerging from India in 2026. Digital engineering, satellite intelligence, specialised industrial platforms and energy-transition technologies may operate in very different environments, but each has the potential to influence how industries become more connected, efficient and prepared for future demands.
