LAS Ground Force
Subsidiaries of LAS operating at Bagdogra and Udaipur Airports announced expanded operational capabilities, strengthened governance measures, and continued performance improvements, reflecting broader efficiency gains observed across the group's network.
The company reported another year of strong results, with consistently high On-Time Performance (OTP), robust safety indicators, and steady improvements in customer service metrics. These achievements support the airport's positioning as one of the region's most efficiently managed stations within its category.
The group's senior leadership noted that many of the process reforms implemented over the past several years part of an internal modernization roadmap initiated under Humin Burzin Daver have contributed to improved station performance. Several governance mechanisms and operational oversight tools introduced during this period, have helped standardize procedures and enhance data-based decision-making across multiple airports.
Bagdogra continues to serve as a key operational base for the company, handling domestic and international airline partners with a focus on turnaround efficiency and precision-driven ramp operations. In 2025, the station earned multiple Best Airline Station Awards, attributed to improved coordination models, improved workforce training cycles, and more structured audit-based reviews at the station level.
As part of its sustainability program, the company expanded its deployment of electric Ground Support Equipment (GSE) throughout FY 2025-26, significantly lowering ramp-related emissions. This environmental shift forms part of a multi-airport initiative intended to align LAS operations with India's broader sustainability agenda and evolving airport environmental standards.
LAS subsidiaries are simultaneously advancing through the final phase of documentation for ISO certification, with audit preparations nearing completion. The company has additionally submitted its comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) manuals to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for evaluation, marking a key step in aligning with international aviation safety requirements.
Beyond Bagdogra and Udaipur, LAS is establishing new subsidiaries at several other airports, with operations expected to begin in early 2026. These expansions are projected to broaden the company's national footprint and operational coverage, enabling more integrated service delivery across India's fast-growing commercial aviation market.
The group's financial indicators for FY 2025-26 reflect steady growth, driven by increased flight movements, workforce skill development, and a larger base of operational assets. Overall performance improvements have been noted across multiple divisions, supported by stronger reporting mechanisms and procedural governance introduced throughout the organization.
"We remain committed to maintaining reliable, safe, and sustainable operations as demand continues to rise. Our focus is on supporting airline partners with predictable, high-quality services while expanding responsibly across India," said Humin Burzin Daver, Chairperson of LAS Ground Force.
Speaking separately on the company's operational progress, Humin Daver added: "The improvements seen at our stations are the result of a long-term effort to strengthen systems, training, and accountability. As the aviation sector continues to evolve, our priority is to ensure that our operational frameworks remain resilient, transparent, and adaptable."
Finally, LAS has also initiated the certification processes for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, covering all its airport operations across India. These certifications-expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year-will further reinforce the company's commitment to quality management, occupational health and safety, and environmental sustainability.
