MCOA Launches Maha Mock Test Indias First Statewide Exam for JEE and MHCET
Over 5,000 Coaching Classes Unite for âMaha Mock Test,' Giving Maharashtra Students a Real Exam Experience
The Maharashtra Class Owners' Association (MCOA), a non-profit organisation that represents coaching institutes across the state, celebrated Teacher's Day with a grand celebration and awards ceremony at the Ravindra Natya Mandir, Dadar, Mumbai on September 13. The occasion also marked the unveiling of the âMaha Mock Test,' touted as India's first statewide mock examination initiative for MH-CET and JEE aspirants.
The Maha Mock Test is a collaborative effort led by Klasy Innovations, in partnership with MCOA, presented by CBS, and powered by Prometric. The landmark initiative was devised as a way to provide students with an authentic, real-exam environment, mirroring the exact conditions of the JEE and CET. Across Maharashtra, students will experience a standardised testing platform for the first time, helping them prepare mentally for high-pressure competitive exams while assessing their knowledge.
The launch event was attended by several prominent personalities including Dr. Sandip Jha, Chairman, Sandip Group of Institutes (Nasik & Bihar), Chief Guest; Mr. Shreyaan Daga, Co-Founder & CEO, OLL, and youngest entrepreneur on Shark Tank India, Guest of Honour; Mr. Mangesh Naik, Retired Sub-Inspector and real-life hero of 26/11, credited with capturing terrorist Ajmal Kasab, Guest of Honour.
The initiative's timing is steeped in symbolism.
Mr. Prajesh Trotsky, President of MCOA, speaking at the announcement, highlighted that the Maha Mock Test goes beyond being just an examination; it is about empowerment and revolutionising learning. For the first time ever, over 5,000 coaching classes across the state are coming together to bring robust testing standards to students in Mumbai, Nagpur, and even Nandurbar. He added that this initiative will help students learn from their mistakes, gain remedial support and eventually elevate Maharashtra's position as a benchmark for JEE and CET results.
The Maha Mock Test is far more than just a preparatory exam. It is being framed as a movement, starting with teachers, benefiting students, and ultimately benefiting society as a whole.
