The event will take place on August 21 and 22, 2026, at the India Community Centre in Milpitas, California, bringing together more than 1,000 founders, engineers, students, creators, investors, attorneys, recruiters and professionals.

Open Atlas Summit 2026 is designed to create deeper forms of interaction.
A student may meet a professional who has already navigated OPT and H-1B. An engineer affected by a layoff may speak to a recruiter and an immigration attorney on the same day. A founder may meet an investor, potential collaborator or experienced entrepreneur.

The Summit begins on Friday, August 21, with a Hackathon from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The Hackathon will invite builders, technologists and creators to collaborate on ideas and demonstrate what immigrant talent can create.
From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the Startup Job Fair will connect candidates with startups, recruiters and founders. Open Atlas says 100 students received job offers through last year's programme, and this year's edition is expected to bring in a larger group of employers and job seekers.
For candidates looking for sponsor-friendly opportunities, the Job Fair provides a setting in which they can meet hiring teams directly rather than relying only on online applications.
On Saturday, August 22, attendees will have access to a five-room programme featuring keynotes, fireside chats and practical sessions.
