"For me, it has never been about capturing a face. Faces are easy, they are everywhere. What interests me is the person behind it - the silences, the strength, the stories they carry within. With Rupali, I didn't have to search too much. She brings that depth with her. It was about allowing that truth to come forward, not constructing anything artificial," says Vikram Bawa.
Rupali describes the experience as deeply immersive and liberating.
"There is something very beautiful about being in front of the camera of a master craftsman like Vikram. You don't feel the need to perform. You just have to be. And somehow, he sees you⦠beyond the surface. It becomes less of a shoot and more of an experience you carry with you," she shares.
