World Women Forum has appointed Tamanna Tanweer as its new President for the Asia Region, entrusting her with the organisation's leadership and expansion across India and key Asian markets.
In this role, Tanweer will lead the Forum's regional agenda, building strategic partnerships and creating platforms that advance women's leadership, entrepreneurship, mentorship and cross-border collaboration.
Her appointment comes as Asia continues to play an increasingly influential role in the global economy, innovation landscape and leadership conversation. Tanweer will focus on strengthening the Forum's presence in India while engaging women leaders, institutions, businesses and communities across the wider region.
"Asia is home to extraordinary women leaders, innovators and change-makers," said Tamanna Tanweer. "I am honoured to take on this responsibility and to help create stronger pathways for women to access opportunity, build influence and lead meaningful change across the region."
