Brain Box podcast.
When Kaushik Bose received a podcast microphone as an anniversary gift from his wife Arpita in September 2021, the intent was modest: build a creative outlet after concluding their previous business venture. Fast forward through five years and seven co-founded ventures, that gift has evolved into Brain Box - The Leadership Podcast, which recently celebrated its milestone 100th episode.
Ranked ninth pan-India on Spotify in 2022, the show has earned a reputation for candid conversations on leadership, founder realities and corporate strategy. For the landmark 100th episode, the show broke its traditional format.
Over the period, Kaushik has hosted global enterprise guests like the VP, APAC of Open AI, VP of First Abu Dhabi Bank, Sales Director of Google Cloud, Technical Director of Google Cloud, Ex-Marketing Director of DAMAC Properties, CBO of CarDekho Group, VP of Emirates, Group Head of Tata Group, Directors of Navratna companies like GAIL and IOC among many others.
Founders & VCs include Founder of Omnivore Ventures (a $300 Mn AUM fund), Board Member of Art of Living, Board Member of Avalara Group (& ex-MD of Coursera), Co-Founder of Akshayakalpa Organics, Founder of EKI Energy (which had hit a billion dollar valuation) etc.
Moving outdoors for the first time, Kaushik sat down with his co-founder, creative collaborator and wife of 17 years, Arpita Bose, to pull back the curtain on business, resilience and a critical paradigm shift: why modern leadership cannot survive without physical and mental vitality.
The discussion offered a rare look into the personal philosophy steering the couple's entrepreneurial ventures. For Arpita, resilience was forged early when she lost her father at the age of 16. Navigating that grief during board exams instilled a lasting principle: focus exclusively on what you can control, leave comfort zones behind, and keep moving forward.
That mindset prompted significant life pivots, from leaving corporate trajectories in Gurgaon to relocating to Dubai in 2011, and eventually venturing into full-time entrepreneurship together.
"Leaving your nest teaches you what cannot be learned in theory," Arpita reflected during the episode. "Whether moving to a new country or building a new business, you learn to adapt, stay grounded and maintain calm amid uncertainty."
While Kaushik's background spans 14 years in enterprise sales and executive positioning, Arpita brings nearly two decades of expertise as a certified yoga instructor and a sports nutritionist from Stanford University. Having built her YouTube channel from 1 to 10,000 subscribers in just 95 days after having got over 2.5 million reel views in 2024, her focus has increasingly turned to the physical operating systems of high-performing leaders.
Through Wellness Fusion, the executive wellness and lifestyle design vertical, the duo is championing sustainable health over short-term fads. During the 100th episode, Arpita highlighted the silent epidemic of executive burnout, erratic nutrition and metabolic fatigue that plagues modern professionals.
"Eighty percent of your body composition and vitality is determined in the kitchen," Arpita explained. "Leaders operate under constant pressure from stakeholders, teams and families. If you fail to prioritize movement, structured strength training, balanced nutrition and structured fasting windows, the body eventually breaks. You cannot exercise leadership clarity if your physical health is deteriorating."
Reaching 100 episodes is an uncommon achievement in an industry where most podcasts stall within their first ten recordings. For the founders, consistency has been the bedrock of both their media presence and their client work at Brain Box Catalysts, where they guide founders and executives on strategic PR and authority positioning.
As the podcast looks ahead, 2027 marks an intentional expansion to include Arpita as co-host in wellness dedicated conversations with health innovators, sports scientists and wellness entrepreneurs, exploring the direct link between personal vitality and executive performance.
"True leadership requires stamina, emotional clarity and boundaries," Arpita noted. "The 100th episode is not just a celebration of past conversations; it marks the integration of two essential pillars: building enduring influence in business while cultivating the physical resilience to sustain it."
