Through this visual representation, the activists aimed to encourage the public to reflect on how everyday food choices can be connected to broader issues such as animal suffering , resource use, and environmental sustainability.
Aprajita Ashish, Director - Animal Climate and Health Save Foundation (Animal Save India) and World Vegan Vision, said:
"We observe Earth Day as a reminder of the impact our daily choices have on the planet. Food systems play an important role in shaping environmental outcomes. Switching to fully plant-based diet options is a most effective ways for individuals contribute to sustainability, while also supporting public health and reducing pressure on natural resources. Earth Day is an opportunity to reflect and make more informed choices."
The demonstration drew attention from the public and sparked conversations around sustainable food systems, climate awareness, and responsible consumption.
The organisations highlighted that addressing climate challenges involves examining everyday habits and encouraged individuals to explore a range of dietary choices, including plant-based alternatives, as part of a more sustainable future.
