Rishikesh-based athlete Niraj Borah secured podium finish at HR 26 Triathlon in Gurugram

Niraj Kumar Borah, a former MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and now a competitive triathlete, secured third place in the SU category at the seventh edition of the HR 26 Triathlon, held in Gurugram.

The triathlon brought together athletes from across India, competing in a test of endurance, skill, and mental strength across swimming, cycling, and running disciplines. The official prize distribution took place on August 10 at CAF The Wellness Hub, Sector 64, Gurugram.

Niraj, founder of Fitness Bootcamp in Rishikesh, has built a reputation for his structured approach to health, training, and recovery. Over the years, he has coached more than 505 clients in his residential Fitness Bootcamp program in Rishikesh, using performance metrics such as HRV, recovery scores, and sport-specific conditioning to achieve consistent results.

Speaking after the event, Niraj said, "This event was a reminder of why consistent effort matters. Every training session, every habit builds up to moments like these."

He is now preparing for Triathlon events in Udupi on November 23 and T100 Triathlon event in Doha, Qatar, on December 13. His long-term goal is to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Triathlon, and he continues to gain valuable experience through domestic and international competition.
