Favourite film: Among the films I have seen recently, I'd say that 'Bhaag Milka Bhaag' is a favourite.
Actors / actresses you look up to: I really admire Sridevi, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor and Anupam Kher - they are natural actors and versatility is their biggest strength.

Why acting: I have always wanted to be an actor; it has been my passion since I was in school.

Your biggest challenge so far: Becoming an actor despite hailing from a non-filmy background has been extremely challenging. I believe in achieving success on my own steam.

A filmmaker you'd want to work with: I think Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Aamir Khan are the leading names in the industry today and it would be an honour to work with them.

Describe your first day on a film set: On my first day on the sets of the film, 'Babloo Happy Hai', I remember my director Nila Madhab Panda believing in me more than anyone else. I, for one, was nervous about living up to his expectations. I look forward to the release of the film - it has been produced by Leap Frog productions in association with FilmyBox Movies - on February 7.

Tell us about your role: I play a simple, carefree girl who fights the odds to emerge a winner in life. Also, the one-night stand scene in the film - which is a crucial part of the story - is between characters played by Sumit Suri and Reyhna Malhotra.

Your strengths and weaknesses: I don't handle criticism very well; I feel low for a day or two, but my strength lies in the fact that I consciously work on my problem areas. This has helped me become a better actor.
