If you love cinema, look no further than the ongoing seventh edition of the Jagran Film Festival in New Delhi

The festival opened with Ketan Mehta's Toba Tek Singh followed by Chotay Shah directed by Sabiha Sumar. As a tribute to legendary filmmaker V Shantaram this year, many of his films will be screened - Do Ankhen Barah Haath and Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje. On day one, a seminar on Shantaram's legacy was followed by the screening of Zinda Bhaag and a conversation between film critic Mayank Shekhar and Shah.

Day 2 began with a coffee table session with Shekhar chatting up Vani Tripathi, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Sudhir Mishra and Kaveri Bamzai on âIs Cinema Over-Regulated'. Some films that were screened included Shantaram's Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne, Rajat Kapoor's Private Detective, Arshinagar and Saari Raat by Aparna Sen.

In the international section, films like Zoe (Spanish), Oedipus King (Spanish/ Argentina), Adventures of Juan Quinquin (Spanish/ Cuba) were presented.

On Day 3, cinephiles caught Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding, Hansal Mehta's Aligarh, Marathi movie Namrat by Mahesh Manjrekar,
Tanuja Chandra's Silvat.
They also got a chance to interact with the star cast of Aligarh - Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao.
