As of now, she's co-scripting a pilot project with Manoj Night Shyamalan. On her maiden visit to India, the she shares with CS her thoughts on her profession:
Filmi baatein
All mainstream films - be it Bollywood or Hollywood - are divided into three categories: action, comedy and drama. In Hindi films, you'll see more of song-dance routines but that's optional. But I feel there's an ongoing trend by which Hollywood films are moving towards musicals and Bollywood films are shying away from it.

Writer's two worlds Television and films are two different worlds. I started with small screen nearly 15 years ago and I'm more comfortable writing for TV. However, films have a magic of their own. The audience gets connected to this universe you create in a relatively shorter period of time. And sometimes, a film manages to express in two hours what a TV show fails to do in 60.
Indian connection When Manoj came to know that I'm travelling to India, he joked, "I know you're in love with me but you don't have to visit Mumbai to know more about me!" But he's a Philly guy. Everything about him is Philadelphia.
Fanfare I'm scripting for the screen adaptation of Jeannette Walls' memoir and Jennifer Lawrence is playing a major role in it. It's funny how Jen doesnât know that she's supposed to be this inaccessible star. She's so grounded that neither stardom nor acclaim affects her. u00a0
