Vivek to act in a play

Vivek Oberoi has signed up to star in a government-backed musical extravaganza similar to Broadway plays. Titled The Kingdom Of Dreams, the show is obviously based on Bollywood and will require Vivek to act, dance and fight live on stage for two hours.

The actor has already started special training, which will go on for another two months to get ready for the project. Vivek was initially unsure about the project, but after hearing the details he realised it was a great challenge and accepted it.

Javed Akhtar will script The Kingdom Of Dreams, while Shiamak Davar will choreograph it. Allan Amin will direct the action and Neeta Lulla will design the costumes. The play is expected to open in May.
