Ajay Devgn is back as Vijay Salgaonkar in the much-awaited third and final instalment of the Drishyam franchise, titled Drishyam: The Conclusion. The makers have now unveiled the actor's first look from the film, offering a glimpse of the troubled state of mind of the character audiences have followed through the previous films.
The newly released poster features a close-up of Ajay Devgn looking visibly distressed as he gazes out of a window. A police car's flashing light can be seen in the background, hinting that Vijay's troubles may be far from over. The visual has further heightened curiosity around how the story will conclude.
Sharing the poster on social media, the makers wrote, "Sahi ya galat, jo bhi hoâ¦main apni family ke liye kisi bhi hadh tak ja sakta hoon," reinforcing the central theme of Vijay's character, his willingness to go to any lengths to protect his family.
The latest look comes days after Ajay unveiled the film's first poster on August 24. That poster featured an extreme close-up of his eye, accompanied by the line, "Mera sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai." The tagline once again placed Vijay's family at the heart of his moral choices.
The film's first-look teaser, which was released in December 2025, had already offered clues about Vijay's mindset. In the teaser, his voiceover reflected on the different labels people have given him over the years, including criminal, murderer, mastermind, hero and father. He also emphasised that his family remains his truth and his right.
Drishyam: The Conclusion continues the story of Vijay Salgaonkar, an ordinary family man who used his intelligence to protect his loved ones after a murder changed their lives. The franchise has built its appeal around Vijay's ability to stay several steps ahead of the law while attempting to shield his family from the consequences of their actions.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios. Along with Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran are set to reprise their respective roles from the earlier films. Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat have joined the cast in new roles.
The final chapter of the franchise is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 2, promising to bring Vijay Salgaonkar's long-running story to its conclusion.
