Now, the popular number is all set to return to the charts once again in Cocktail 2, but with a vibrant new rendition. Featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, the track celebrates enduring friendships while adding a playful nod to internet trolling.

Sharing the track on his official social media handle, actor Shahid Kapoor, aka Kunal from Cocktail 2, penned, "WE ARE OUT OF CON-TROLL. COCKTAIL 2 out on 19th June. (sic)"
The makers have included a funny element in the song by making the actors say that they are going to get trolled after the song releases. While the sound is fresh, the soul remains the same - celebrating the people who stay through every chapter of life. Featuring music by Pritam, Bandhu 2.0 is sung by Kavita Seth and Neeraj Shridhar, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The track beautifully captures the essence of friendship, blending familiar emotions with a contemporary sound and making it the friendship anthem for a new generation. The latest version of the song features music production, arrangement, and recreation by Abhijit Vaghani.
Talking about Cocktail 2, the film is considered one of the most anticipated releases of the year and serves as a successor to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty. The film stars Shahid, Kriti, and Rashmika in the lead roles. Kriti, reportedly, will be seen essaying the role of a free-spirited, glamorous character at the heart of the film's complex relationship dynamics, while Shahid headlines the romantic entertainer. Set against picturesque international locations and packed with music, romance, friendship, and emotional drama, Cocktail 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on June 19.
