Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have revealed the name of their second daughter on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. The actors took to their official social media handles on Tuesday to introduce their little bundle of joy as Devi Padukone Singh. Soon after the announcement, Bipasha Basu reacted to the name reveal, as it is the same as her daughter's name.

Bipasha, who shares a daughter named Devi with actor-husband Karan Singh Grover, was delighted by Deepika and Ranveer's choice of name. Her response suggests that Deepika had previously spoken to Bipasha about her fondness for the name, making the announcement all the more special. Reacting to their announcement, the actress commented, "So you were really serious when you told me you love the name Devi."

Bollywood's power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have unveiled the name of their second daughter on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. In a joint post, the couple uploaded a heart-melting family photo featuring Ranveer, Deepika and their two little munchkins.

While the two actors flaunted their dazzling smiles as they looked at their girls, big sister Dua was lovingly giving her little sister a kiss. All four of them twinned in golden ethnic wear. Sharing the name of their younger daughter with netizens, they captioned the post, "Of Love and Abundance… (evil eye emoji) Devi Padukone Singh" (sic).

Many members of the film fraternity, such as Mrunal Thakur, Sharvari and Bhumi Pednekar, reacted to the post with red heart emoticons.

Ranveer and Deepika welcomed baby number two on September 19 this year. The couple shared the exciting news on social media by uploading a post featuring a tiny footprint, along with the words, "Welcome baby girl...19/9/2026...Dua, Deepika, Ranveer".

For the caption, they simply shared an evil eye emoticon. Deepika and Ranveer had announced that they were expecting their second child together in April this year.

Work-wise, Deepika stars in the upcoming action film King with Shah Rukh Khan and Raaka with Allu Arjun, while Ranveer is starring in the post-apocalyptic zombie thriller Pralay following Dhurandhar's success.
