Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is working really hard for his Sanjay Dutt biopic, but one statement of his shocked everyone when he said that the latter is a fraud. Here's the reason behind it
Ranbir Kapoor is working really hard for his next film, the Sanjay Dutt biopic. He has undergone a physical transformation as well to fit the role. However, one statement by Ranbir Kapoor has shocked everyone. In one of his interviews, he has called Sanjay Dutt a 'fraud'.
In a recent interview to Deccan Chronicle he said, "With the Sanjay Dutt biopic, he's been so honest about his life," says Ranbir. "He's admitting to his mistakes. We're not portraying a Gandhi like character. We're portraying a very fraud man. He's someone who is loved and disliked. He's the most controversial, and to have the ability to tell about your life so honestly, and to make a movie out of it is very brave."

Ranbir Kapoor adds further, "If I was in his position, I don't think I could be this honest about my life, and make myself look like a person who is not nice. If an audience can take something from that and learn something from his life, I think it's a very positive thing."
The yet untitled biopic also features Manisha Koirala as the late Nargis Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and Dia Mirza as Manayata Dutt.
