The much-awaited third instalment of the Drishyam franchise is gearing up for its theatrical release, with the makers now stepping up promotions. Drishyam The Conclusion has received CBFC clearance for its trailer, which is expected to be launched at a grand event in Goa with the entire star cast.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently passed the trailer of Drishyam The Conclusion. The promo has a runtime of 2 minutes and 52 seconds and was passed with a U/A 16+ certificate on September 1.
The portal further revealed that the theatrical trailer will be launched with a lot of fanfare in Goa. The entire star cast will be present at the event, which is expected to take place on Tuesday, September 8, or Wednesday, September 9.
Drishyam: The Conclusion stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishita Dutt, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor. The makers of the upcoming film Drishyam 3 had started shooting in December in Goa.
Drishyam tells the gripping tale of a family caught in the shadow of a shocking disappearance. A policewoman's son goes missing, and she threatens to destroy Vijay's family. Determined to protect his loved ones, Vijay spares no effort to keep them safe.
Seven years later, in the sequel, the Salgaonkars have tried to move on from the traumatic events of their past. But just when life seems to have found its rhythm, unexpected circumstances arise, threatening to unearth dark truths long buried. The film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. Drishyam has also been remade in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam The Conclusion is all set to release theatrically on October 2, 2026.
The actor has several films in his kitty apart from Drishyam. He will be seen reuniting with Rohit Shetty for Golmaal 5, which also stars Akshay Kumar. The actor will also be seen in Chauhan and Ranger. He is also exploring a new space by hosting Crime Patrol. Apart from these, he has Shaitaan 2 and a horror thriller that recently went on floors.
