Now, during the trailer launch of the upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, producer Ramesh Taurani addressed the ongoing legal matter.

At the event, Taurani was asked whether the dispute and allegations made by Puja Entertainment would impact the film's release or promotional activities. Reacting to the question, the producer said calmly, "There is no problem. The issue has been resolved. If any problem arises going ahead, even that will be resolved. The matter is currently sub judice."

When Tips released statement against Puja

Earlier, Tips Industries had released an official statement responding to the lawsuit filed against them.

The statement read, "Tips Music Limited has become aware of a suit filed by Puja Entertainment (India) Ltd. before the Civil Judge (Senior Division), Katihar, Bihar."

The company further clarified that it is the lawful owner of the music rights in question and that the ownership is backed by "valid and binding agreements" between the parties.

"Tips has openly and legitimately exploited these rights for nearly three decades in full compliance with applicable laws," the statement added.

The company also alleged that the claims made by Pooja Entertainment were "malicious" and intended to damage the reputation and goodwill of Tips.

"The claims made by PEIL are strongly disputed and appear to be malicious, misconceived, and intended to tarnish the reputation and goodwill of Tips. Tips remains fully confident in defending its rights before the appropriate courts and shall take all necessary legal steps to protect its interests and ownership of rights," the statement concluded.

Founded by Vashu Bhagnani in 1986, Pooja Entertainment has backed several popular comedies including Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1 and Biwi No.1.

Meanwhile, Tips Industries was founded in 1975 by brothers Kumar Taurani and Ramesh Taurani.
