Actress Surveen Chawla, popularly known for her bold role in 'Hate Story 2' has secretly tied the knot with businessman Akshay Thakker. While the entire nation is fixed onto Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's wedding, Surveen, quietly posted an image of herself with husband Akshay on social media. According to a Bombay Times report, Surveen got hitched on July 28, 2015, in Northern Italy. Also seen in the daily soap, 'Kahin Toh Hoga', the actress managed to successfully keep her marriage news under wraps.

As reported by Bombay Times, the source told, "Surveen met Akshay through a common friend in 2013 and soon after, they fell in love. They got married in 2015, with only family and a handful of industry friends in attendance. It was Surveen's dream to have a white wedding in a chapel located in a picturesque castle and Italy seemed like an apt choice. The couple was waiting for the right time to announce the wedding and had planned to do it in January 2018."

Surveen took to her Twitter account on Wednesday and made it official to the world. She wrote, "nd just like that, right in the middle of an extra-ordinary life, love gave us a fairy tale??... #Married #bliss #EternalLove #GiveUsYourLove&Blessings (sic)."

We wonder what made her keep the news a secret. She will next be seen in Ekta Kapoor's web series 'Haq Se'.
