Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan believes India is too obsessed with stars and not enough with cinema. Reacting to a filmmaker's Instagram post on the subject, Hrithik wrote, "Cinema is bigger than stardom." He added, "Unfortunately, we have a very superficial understanding of cinema here in India." The actor said that the audience often assumes a star's on-screen persona reflects their real life. "Somehow we haven't grown up to understand where the actual art lies," he said. He also urged people to explore other aspects of filmmaking instead of obsessing over actors alone.
Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has opened up about his decade-long absence from India. Speaking to Kris Fade, he said, "My fans are listening over VPN and they burn the CDs and give them to people. Not that I appreciate piracy, but music will reach wherever it has to reach." Atif also told his Indian fans, "I miss you guys." He said the ban gave him an opportunity to explore making his own music.
