In March, mid-day had reported that Salman Khan is set to enter the superhero genre with a film helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, marking his first collaboration with the filmmaker duo (A retiring superhero? March 6). The project is currently in pre-production and is expected to go on floors this October. "It's a big-budget superhero film designed for a global audience. The team is aiming to begin filming by October 2026, once all pre-visualisation and prep work is in place," a source told Pinkvilla. Casting for the female lead is underway, with earlier speculation about Samantha Ruth Prabhu now dismissed.
Salman Khan is also shooting an actioner with Vamshi Paidipally, slated for an Eid 2027 release. He will be seen in âMaatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace', and has a cameo in Riteish Deshmukh's âRaja Shivaji', which released in cinemas on May 1.
Actor Rajshri Deshpande has shared a powerful post embracing her breast cancer surgery scars as symbols of strength and survival. Months after revealing her Grade 1 diagnosis and surgery, she posted photos confidently showcasing her scars. "My scars tell the story of my survival. I fought, I survived, and I conquered. To every woman dimming her light, please rise. Your scars are not blemishes; they are your crown of courage," she said, asserting that the illness "could never touch my spirit."
