Salman Khan
Salman Khan's Maatrubhumi, earlier titled Battle of Galwan, has finally cleared a major hurdle. Originally based on the 2020 India-China clash, the film reportedly underwent a narrative makeover after concerns that its content could affect the countries' improved ties.

Parts were rewritten and reshot, pushing back the release. As per a Bollywood Hungama report, the I&B Ministry has now given the revamped version an NOC, which the makers received last week. Salman is reportedly eyeing November 13, just after Diwali for the release, but the film is still awaiting the Central Board of Film Certification's nod. The new version is said to focus on the more positive India-China relationship.
Katrina with baby Vihaan
Fatherhood has given Vicky Kaushal a fresh perspective on life. The actor, who welcomed son Vihaan with Katrina Kaif in November 2025, says every little milestone has brought a sense of fulfilment he never expected. "It's just amazing to see that, experience that," he said, recalling his son's first cry, giggles and gestures.
Vicky says parenthood has made him "incredibly sensitive" and "incredibly responsible", while also making him more mindful of his own behaviour. "You have to be the way so that your child can learn something from you," he said.

Katrina Kaif found herself on the receiving end of social media trolling after a recent public appearance. While some comments took aim at her looks, fans were quick to shut down the chatter and defend the actor. Katrina, for her part, has remained unfazed.
Waheeda Rahman in the film
On Gandhi Jayanti, the makers of Gandhi and My Mother unveiled glimpses of Sudhir Mishra's upcoming drama, which explores a lesser-known 21-day chapter from Mahatma Gandhi's life.
Manoj Bajpayee as Gandhi
Manoj Bajpayee plays Gandhi, while Waheeda Rehman essays his mother, Putlibai. Calling it "an absolute honour" to direct the veteran actor, Mishra said, "It is an absolute honour to have her in this film."
Anubhav Sinha and Sudhir Mishra
Produced by Anubhav Sinha and Narendra Hirawat, the film also stars Divya Dutta and Saurabh Shukla. "I believe there should be one or two films made on Gandhi every year for the next 100 years," said Anubhav.
